When businesses invest in sponsorship or advertising, the focus is often on increasing brand visibility. For the 2026/27 season, Datagraphic decided to use that opportunity differently.
Rather than putting its own name in the spotlight, Datagraphic has donated its Sheffield United FC sponsorship investment to ANDYSMANCLUB (AMC). This means the charity gains a platform to raise awareness of men’s mental health and encourage more people to access support.
Through the partnership, Datagraphic has donated the promotional sponsorship as part of social value strategy to ANDYSMANCLUB. This includes naming the stand at Bramall Lane ‘ANDYSMANCLUB’ for the season and sponsoring the match ball during a televised fixture on Saturday 15th August 2026.
ANDYSMANCLUB is a men’s mental health charity focused on suicide prevention, providing free, peer-to-peer support groups across the UK. The charity creates safe spaces where men can come together, talk openly and support each other without judgement.
The partnership means the ANDYSMANCLUB name and its powerful message, “It’s Okay To Talk”, will be seen by thousands of football supporters throughout the season, helping more people discover the charity and understand the support available.
Creating social value through responsible business
For Datagraphic, the partnership represents more than a sponsorship opportunity; it is an example of how businesses can use their resources, influence and commercial activity to create positive social impact.
As a Certified B Corp and EcoVadis Platinum-rated organisation, Datagraphic believes responsible business means considering the wider impact of its decisions on people, communities and society. Supporting initiatives that improve wellbeing, inclusion and access to support forms an important part of this commitment.
By donating its sponsorship platform to ANDYSMANCLUB, Datagraphic is helping deliver measurable social value by increasing awareness of mental health support, encouraging conversations and helping connect more people with services that can make a difference.
Sponsorship as part of social value strategy
The partnership aligns with Datagraphic’s wider social value commitments to support the principles of the Social Value TOMs framework:
- Promoting healthier, safer and more inclusive communities
- Supporting wellbeing and reducing inequalities
- Creating positive outcomes for local communities through meaningful partnerships
As a participant in the UN Global Compact, it also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
- SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing – supporting improved mental health and wellbeing
- SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities – helping remove barriers and stigma around accessing support
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – collaborating with organisations to create greater impact
Peter Wells, Responsible Business Manager at Datagraphic, said:
“We wanted to donate this opportunity to support a cause that is making a real difference to people’s lives. ANDYSMANCLUB is helping thousands of men across the UK access support and have conversations that can change lives.
“Through this partnership, we hope to amplify the charity’s message and encourage more people to engage with its important work. If even one person discovers ANDYSMANCLUB and feels able to take that first step towards seeking support, it will have been a meaningful outcome.”
